Great work! Any chance of a version 2.0 where all these layouts are included as templates (like in andreas09)? That would make this theme even better. I could of course do it myself, but anyway…

Thanks for appreciation.
Version 2 is in my mind. Maybe I need to see code of your theme and see if its possible in mine ;).

[…] Kaushal Sheth A port of the OSWD.org design to WordPress. Quite the sexy theme, with options of left or right sidebar, and 3 column. What might be interesting is if someone could bundle the 3 and create an options page so the user simply chooses their preference.

Hi Kaushal, thanks for the great theme!
I have one problem however, I cannot put blank spaces between paragraphs for some reason.
I’m using latest WP2.0 with the tinyMCE editor mode.
Thanks!

It may not be the theme I don’t know, but I can’t put a space between sentances. I tried putting a br, two returns etc. but nothing works.

Hi Kaushal,
You have great theme! I love it, especially the 3 columns: small column ob the left and on the right, the big column in the center.
Would you also provide us the 3 columns version which put big column on the left and the two smal columns on the right. Would you, Kaushal?
January 6th, 2006 at 9:03 pm
I had that in mind when I released the three versions of theme but somehow slipped out of my mind. Currently am very busy with my project. Maybe soon you will see more versions of the theme.

Hi,
I just download your themes and i like it and it fall to what i need, i just want to ask you how i can i modify( fluidity3c) to the color i need for the 3 colums. i want to change the color of the background to white and the text to black , the link to blue, how can i do that?, i know it in the css stylesheet but i can’t find it. Can you point me in the right part of the the style sheet?, i will appreciate it.

Hey, Kaushal. Thanks for designing Fluidity3C. I love it. I’m using a slightly modified version of it at www.viewfromrockytop.com.
One question: when I click on one of my categories, the right sidebar ends up under the middle column instead of on the right-hand side. I noticed that yours doesn’t do that, so I tried deleting everything and uploading your files fresh again, but I got the same problem.
Any ideas?
Thanks again.
January 10th, 2006 at 9:35 am
@nat look into style.css . Stylesheet is well written so that a person with a knowledge of css can easily modify it. For starters
h3.entrytitle a, h3.entrytitle a:visited {
color: #FFA200;
text-decoration: none;
}
is used for post link colors ( orange ).
@joel does the theme give same problem before you modify it to your requirements. Just try using default theme and check if you get any problem and let me know.
January 10th, 2006 at 6:03 pm
Kaushal, thanks for responding so quick. Yes, I had the same problem using all of your defaults. Let me know if you want me to change back to the default so you can see it happening.
Thanks again.
January 10th, 2006 at 7:31 pm
Hold on a second, Kaushal. I think I might have found the problem. Some of the old posts I imported to the new site begin and end with div:clear tags — I’m thinking that’s the problem. I’ll let you know when I get a chance to fix them. Thanks.
January 11th, 2006 at 8:35 pm
Kaushal. Yeah, I think that did it. When I first moved from Blogger to WordPress, my existing posts were imported with div:clear tags. Removing those appears to have fixed the problem with my right sidebar rendering under my main content column when those posts were viewed alone.
Thanks again.

Hello! I am loving the theme however I have one thing I was curious how to change.
When I make a list, the text progressively gets smaller. Is there anyway to change that?
Thanks and keep up the good work!
January 25th, 2006 at 10:25 pm
I did not get what you mean to say f7 , perhaps you can be more specific , clear.
January 26th, 2006 at 10:32 pm
Can you please take a look at my site? http://www.fseven.net
In the newest blog entry, look near the bottom of the post. You will see where the text gets smaller in the list.
Thanks for responding too.
January 26th, 2006 at 11:04 pm
yes i got what you mean and i have mailed you how to solve the problem.
in short and fast way you can solve it by changing the following line in style.css
ol li, ul li { color: #fff; font-size: 0.8em; line-height: 1.4em } to given line
ol li, ul li { color: #fff; font-size: 0.9em; line-height: 1.4em }

i like the theme, but i would like to change it a little bit. add some stuff on the sidebar. i just recently upgraded to WP2.0 because i had a problem with my site last week. however when i go to the theme editor, it won’t actually let me make changes. should i make the changes on the file on my computer and then upload the new php file to my server? or is there a better/ different way to do so?
February 13th, 2006 at 5:08 pm
justin in oder for theme editor to work properly chmod those files on server. then u will be able to make changes using theme editor. Else you can change to code offline and uploa dto server. Use method that suits you

Great theme, and I’ve tweaked it a bit for my use. However, I would ilke there to be more space underneath the blockquotes. I’ve tried a couple of different things in CSS. I added “padding: 10px” to the CSS for blockquotes, but nothing’s worked yet.
Any suggestions?

This is great, but I’m noticing that search works a little funny. I’m I’m on the home page when I enter a search, it works fine, but when I enter a search from a post or another page I get no results or I get the same page I’m looking at as a result.

Hi Kaushal, firstly this design is awesome.

Very nice theme…but I’m a bit puzzled in how to get the tabs working. I tried to follow the read me file, but I guess I got blond just after reading #1. Any help here?
TIA
March 8th, 2006 at 6:04 pm
Hi Marie,
The readme has been written in detailed. A person with little bit knowledge of HTML will be able to make it work. Try again and if it still doesn’t work contact me using contact form.
March 8th, 2006 at 6:15 pm
@ steve the tab thing works if you implement it properly as written it readme.
@ terrance just tweak blockquote as you require, if you still got problem please use contact form to contact me and the search works I have tested it on my demo site.
@Noel currently I cannot explain how to create fixed width theme for the same. Maybe future release will have it.
March 8th, 2006 at 9:10 pm
Hi Kaushal Sheth….I told you I was blond
But luck is on my side, it’s just peroxide blond and I found out that I was staring at the wrong code.
Got it working

I love this theme but I have a problem with it in Internet explorer. I have never had a problem in firefox but in IE the columns stack on top of each other instead of next to each other (the middle column will be below the right column and the left column will be below that).
Is there any fix for this? you can see it at my site 1n73r.net
if you view it in IE it is all jacked up.
thanks.

April 6th, 2006 at 10:24 am
Kaushal,
I looked through lotsa themes and decided the fluidity3c was the best for me. I love the tabs at the top. I notice if I add links in the posts, they come up in the same color (white) as the text. How can I change that? And also the Text size/color in the header? Thanks in advance for any help.
April 6th, 2006 at 10:26 am
Oh, and any chance of the theme being widget enabled?
April 19th, 2006 at 5:22 am
I’m helping a friend install this theme on www.fat-ninja.com. In the backend of WP we’re getting an error saying:
———————
Broken Themes
The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.
Name Description
fluidity3c Stylesheet is missing.
fluidityrs Stylesheet is missing.
———————
The stylesheets are in the themes folders so this error doesn’t make any sense. We’re using WP 2.0.2. Any ideas?
April 19th, 2006 at 9:05 am
This is a weird problem. I myself have never come across this error. Try asking wordpress.org support forums for help.
April 19th, 2006 at 9:34 pm
lol, I don’t know what happened (coulda been an ID:10T error on my friend’s part) but I reuploaded the theme and it works like a charm. Any chance that this will get Widgetized? I’ve hacked some other themes but since this one has multiple columns I’m not so sure that I’d get it right.
April 25th, 2006 at 6:57 am
I would also be interested in using this theme w/widgets… any chance of a release with this feature any time soon?
April 25th, 2006 at 8:26 am
I’m having a problem with the bars. On my computer, everything shows up perfectly, but on other cpu’s that are set at a different resolution, the bar on the right shoots down to the bottom. Can anything be done to make this a happy theme for all screen resolutions?
May 4th, 2006 at 6:49 pm
@nile I will soon update all my theme to support widgets.
@john open style2.css and adjust sixcolumn width so that it works fine for your resoultion. the theme has been tested to work perfectly for resolution greater than 1024px
May 7th, 2006 at 6:37 pm
Hey mate, good job on the themes , quick question, is there any way to make this a fixed width syle ? so its aligned centre and has space either side of it ? cheers
May 18th, 2006 at 11:08 pm
Thanks for the awesome theme. But I’m awaiting widget support for it before installing. Would it be possible to code to automatically generate links from pages instead of having to manually edit those links?
July 4th, 2006 at 9:12 am
Do you have an archives page template for this theme?, i was trying to create a page that would show a list of archives by category and date so i wont have to show a never ending list of category links in my sidebar…
July 31st, 2006 at 7:27 pm
Hi! I love the look and feel of this theme. However, it would be perfect if it had widget support. I was just wondering if that’s happening some time soon?
Ivan, you should try Extended Live Archives. It has a template tag that you can use in a manually created Archive page..

Any Update on a widgetized theme of this template ?
Great work
Thanks

Maybe I’m just lame, but I can’t get the graphics to work at all. Is there a different directory they should go in?
August 20th, 2006 at 4:51 am
Nevermind! I got it worked out!
September 25th, 2006 at 12:47 pm
Love the theme! Love the three columns and LOVE the widget support. Still struggling with the tabs. Was hoping that the people that came before me might have posted solutions rather than just problems. I honestly don’t know what I am doing wrong. I followed the instructions in the readme, still nothing. Thanks for the theme! =)
September 26th, 2006 at 9:07 pm
I love this theme as well. It looks fantastic! I to am having a heck of a time trying to make the tabs work. I agree with the previous commenter that it would have been great for someone to mention a solution than just problems to it. Either way, my request is, since this seems to be an ongoing struggle for quite a few of us, is it possible to put a ‘tabs for dummies’ step by step process on how to do this so that we, and future users can just look at this page and find the solution? Thanks very much in advance! - J

I love this theme too! and like the two posters above, I am having a really tough time with the tabs. Can’t make it work.

How do I change the font color in the header and display my tagline? Thanks for help!
October 3rd, 2006 at 9:31 am
I see above that the readme should help with the tags, I’ve read it but don’t really understand. I will try more when my brain allows (I’m new to web design… first website).
I found how to change the title color (but am confused about it… I can’t seem to choose header text color and tab text color seperately. They both change together for me.
But my main concern at the moment is having the tagline on the header. How can I do this?
Thanks!

Hi,
I love this theme and use it on my site but I noticed a problem when viewed in IE 7, the right sidebar is thrown to the bottom of the page. I managed to fix this in the sidebarright.php file, the second line of code reads but should be . Firefox renders the page as designed whichever code is used but as ever IE does things differently.
Cheers
Seoras

Sorry, code did’t appear in last post.
In sidebarright.php change id=”sidebar” to id=”sidebarright”

Do I have to do something to get sidebar widgets to work with this theme?
March 5th, 2007 at 10:24 pm
hi, i’d like to try this template, but is it possible to have articl’s summarys on the index page ?
because in my articls i have often a lot of pics, and so if i can’t summarys it, index will be too heavy
thank you for support !
sorry for my “english” ^^

The site looks great ! Thanks for all your help ( past, present and future !)

Thanks for a great theme. I do, of course, have an issue that is stumping me. When I create a new page, all content is doubled. I’ve looked and looked, and can’t figure it out. It is definatley theme related, as when I switch themes, it doesn’t happen. An example is here:

I figured it out. It was a change introduced by Lazy-k Gallery…

Hi,
I really like the 3-column theme, but I’ve been having a few problems with it.
Firstly, I did a bunch of tweaking to the theme myself. So when I was finished, and liked the way it looked (for the most part), I checked it out in IE and noticed the right hand colum didn’t display correctly, it is at the bottom under the center column. So, I reinstalled the original untweaked theme, but it still had the same problem. I also tried the advice listed above about “id=sidebarright” - that was incorrect, and made the problem worse.
I haven’t done anything to the WP code, but I did play around with sidebar widget placement. Could that be the problem? Is this them compatible with (just the normal) sidebar widgets?
I’d really like to use the theme, and I usually browse with FF, but it HAS to display properly in IE as well.
