Abstrakt- Wordpress Theme

Some theme take lot of time to design , while some very less. Been working on KryptonX since last 5 days but just the thought of writing extensive tutorial on using the menu has just delayed it release.
Till then all can enjoy my first Abstract theme - Abstrakt based on Wheat Grass theme by Michael. The new redesigned theme features a great header and two menus ( Top level Menu and Side Level Menu ).

Hi, great WP 2.0-compliant theme. One noob question: what is the proper syntax to get the header page links to work, where you currently have ‘#’ in the code, what do I use instead? I tried putting the page number that WP assigned when I created the page, but that did nothing. Thanks much, again, great theme.

Hi,very nice theme,so nice that I’m using it right now for my wordpress blog.
However,I was tweaking my blog and tried the W3C validation process which failed here in the end of the sidebar.php :

Si i tried to put a after the “” line and validation was ok,but the footer went crazy and displaced ! What do you think I must try for this ? Thanks for your kind answer and please forgive my approximative english …

I have Abstrakt, but i don’t know how to add something to the navigation tabbs (Home, about, photos, portfolio, contact).
Does somebody know how I can make this link work?

@ troy and valerio just replace # sign with your page url. Say for example
http://www.kaushalsheth.com/textpattern-themes or http://www.wpdemo.kaushalsheth.com/?page_id=7 for instance.

and, do i need to add another url adress in my lycos account for each category i’ve on the header and the sidebar?

Thanks for the great theme, I’ve already got it customized to meet my own needs
One thing though: I don’t know if it’s a bug or what but when moving to individual post’s page from the index page the whole content comes down ca 10 pixels. Is it fixable?

Now I got it fixed; it was “margin: 0 auto; ” missing in some “check whether it needs a sidebar or not” part of header.php.

ok I get how to change # with a url in the header.
But when I click on the link at the header I get a new page where I have no idea How to add text and pictures.
I tried with WP but without any results.
Can you help me Please?

Yes Quang you can convert it to TXP theme . I myself wanted to do it but currently don’t have time so go ahead.
@ Zvanko please look into css and find background for appropriate div and change it to color of your choice.

very nice theme! I played arouns with it for some days and now I have another questions:
I linked your top-level menu to some internal pages created with wordpress. The problem is, that the layout of the internal pages is not shown correctly. The whole layout is “jumping” down when i use the links. Same happens if i use the internal listing-feature of wordpress. Any idea what the problem is?

Hi Kaushal - love the theme. I am having a problem with making edits to the template. The edits are showing up on the category pages, but not on the main page. I just can’t figure it out. Any ideas?! I’m desperate, as your theme is a perfect match for the rest of my site. Thanks in advance

Sorry - finally figured it out - Yahoo automatically installs a cache plugin that caches pages on the server. So even though I had emptied my temp files, the old page was still showing. Drove me crazy!
Even though I deactivated the plugin yesterday, evidently things are still cacheing. Anyone know how to completely uninstall the WP_Cache plugin?!
